TMACC HONORS TRANSPORTATION SUPPORTERS
AT 9TH ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER
MALVERN, PA – The Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) will honor three individuals for their tireless support of transportation and public transit in Chester County at the association’s 9th Annual Awards Dinner on June 12 at the Desmond Great Valley Hotel and Conference Center.
This year’s award recipients are:
- Transportation Executive of the Year: Toby Fauver, PennDOT Deputy Secretary;
- Chairman’s Award: Peter Quinn, retired Executive Director of the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association;
- Executive Director’s Award: Tom Sklow, Vice President of Leasing and Development for Liberty Property Trust.
“Chester County commuters have greatly benefited from the tireless and selfless work of this year’s award recipients,” said Michael E. Herron, TMACC executive director. “We are very proud to honor and celebrate the efforts of Toby Fauver, Peter Quinn and Tom Sklow.”
Barry Seymour, Executive Director of the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, will be the keynote speaker. The event will also feature a performance by renowned comedian Joe Conklin, who is noted for doing impressions of America’s top politicians, athletes and film stars.
“We are certainly honored to have Barry as our keynote speaker this year because of the challenges that professionals in the transportation industry have faced this year. He will provide some insight of what lies ahead for our region,” Herron added. “And, we certainly need Joe Conklin to bring some levity to this event. It is, after all, a celebration.”
