Malvern, PA-The Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) is pleased to announce that the PNC Bank, located in Malvern, has joined the organization to further improve transportation initiatives and alternatives in Chester County.
One of the newer branches to open in Chester County, the PNC Malvern branch is taking personal banking to the next level. The new concept branch has no tellers. Instead, there are ATM machines that make depositing money easy and tablets to look up account information, all while PNC employees walk around ready to assist you if needed.
Along with improving the way banking is done; PNC is also fully investing in transportation alternatives to increase sustainability. The Chester Valley Trail is situated adjacent to the bank, which is a huge benefit to its employees and clients. Recognizing the opportunity to give back to its clients who use the trail, PNC partnered with TMACC to invest in transportation improvements for the community.
PNC is eager to participate in projects and initiatives to support the growth of transportation alternatives in Chester County. “We are more than just place where you store your money, we are a part of the community,” said branch manager, Daniel Bishop, “PNC wants to help make Great Valley and Malvern a sustainable, and eco-friendly community filled with transportation options. Partnering with TMACC is a logical component to that goal.”
The PNC Malvern Branch opened in late 2013. The new branch model has two “deposit-easy” ATMs for money and checks. Also, customers who open a new checking account can immediately receive their debit card at the bank.
TMACC has begun conversations with PNC to add unique amenities to the Chester Valley Trail. One major trial addition from PNC will be unveiled this spring at TMACC’s Corporate Bike to Work Challenge this May.
