TMACC Hires John Meisel:
Manager of Transportation Operations and Planning

Malvern, PA – The Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) is proud to welcome John Meisel as TMACC’s new Manager of Transportation Operations and Planning.
In his role as Manager of Transportation Operations and Planning, Mr. Meisel is tasked with establishing a Public Transportation Committee to review TMACC bus operations, activating the Pennsylvania Community Transportation Initiative (PCTI) Committee established by the Route 29/Great Valley Multi-Modal Study, and creating a working group for the Paoli-Chester Valley Trail Connector Study.
Mr. Meisel comes to TMACC with a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning Degree from the University of Virginia. He has over 12 years of planning and project management experience in the private and public sectors; and currently serves as Council Member of the Malvern Borough and is a Sustainability Committee Member at the Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square.

Timothy Phelps, Executive Director of TMACC, is excited to finally announce that TMACC has a full staff and with Meisel’s expertise TMACC can better achieve their mission and objectives: “I am confident that, with Meisel’s experience in planning and outreach, TMACC will be able to facilitate new projects that will improve Chester County’s traffic congestion and air quality through Transportation Demand Management (TDM) strategies.”
The mission of the TMACC is to foster cooperation between the public and private sectors of Chester County to identify, evaluate and analyze significant transportation issues; and to serve a leadership role in the development and implementation of solutions that are broad-based, cost effective and timely.
