Malvern, PA – The Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) has announced the addition of E. Kahn Development Corporation (EKD) to their membership. They have joined with over 100 municipalities, planners, engineers, universities, and businesses who value the improvement of transportation options in Chester County.
E. Kahn Development Corporation is a privately held real estate firm specializing in the acquisition, repositioning, and development of commercial, industrial, and multi-family real estate throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. Since the company was established in 1994, the firm’s expertise has helped transform numerous underutilized and often environmentally challenged properties into vibrant business and community centers throughout our region.
In addition to the many traditional commercial/industrial projects underway, the firm has over 600,000 square feet of transit-oriented mixed use projects either planned or under construction, such as the completed Malvern’s Eastside Flats.
TMACC Executive Director, P. Timothy Phelps, considers partnering with E. Kahn as an investment in transit-oriented development (TOD) projects: “TMACC understands and advocates for the inclusion of transportation options. We look forward to working with EKD on future projects to increase transit amenities, like sidewalks, bike lanes, and bus routes, easier to incorporate into our plans.”
E. Kahn Development adds to TMACC’s powerful community of members to further its mission of creating a truly multi-modal county. “As E. Kahn invests and develops more TDM real estate properties, partnering with TMACC enhances their multi-modal options in Chester County,” said TMACC Executive Director, P. Timothy Phelps.
