Malvern, PA – The Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) is excited to announce the addition of Victory Brewing Company to their growing group of members.
Victory Brewing Company is a craft beer brewery and restaurant headquartered in Downingtown, PA. Victory sells and distributes to 35 states and 9 countries. In 2014, the brewery produced nearly 126,000 barrels of beer, equating to approximately 34.6 million 12-ounce servings.
Victory was recently named the 26th largest craft brewery in the United States. With increased product demand, so to is there an increase in deliveries. “Victory has a strong commitment to green initiatives. For that reason, we felt the relationship was a natural fit,” said Shannon Maria Jones, TMACC’s Manager of Member Services. “We are now able to consult with Victory about transportation demand management practices that will help make their business even more sustainable.”
Environmental stewardship is a key component of Victory’s business model. From recycling heat, to reduce CO2 emissions, and feeding farm animals with the spent grain from the brewing process, Victory is making a conscious effort to improve the environment. After learning of TMACC’s bus services in Parkesburg and Southern Chester County, called CHESCOBUS, Victory quickly jumped on the opportunity to support the organization. “We believe in helping the community in more ways than just providing them delicious beer and food,” said Matt Krueger, Vice President of Retail Operations for Victory. “If joining TMACC helps to support and improve the public transportation network, then we want to be a part of it.”
Victory Brewing Company will be opening a brewpub in Kennett Square this spring and opening another restaurant in their new Parkesburg brewery later this year. It is the first brewery and restaurant to become TMACC members. Victory joins a list of universities, hospitals, non-profits, elected officials, and corporations who take transportation issues seriously.
