King of Prussia, PA – Weekday lane restrictions are scheduled on U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) between Dilworthtown Road/Delaware County line and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Birmingham, Thornbury, Westtown and West Goshen townships, Chester County, on Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for utility adjustments, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling in the work zone because slowdowns will occur during construction. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
This work is part of a $3.4 million project to repair and resurface over 13 miles of state highway in Chester County.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT milled the existing roadway surface and repaved the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
Allan A. Myers, LP, of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the $3,385,777 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds from Act 89, Pennsylvania’s Transportation Plan.
