7/26/2017: Travel Restrictions Scheduled on U.S. 422 and U.S. 30 Bypass for Guide Rail Repair in Montgomery and Chester Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Motorists will encounter travel restrictions this week on U.S. 422 in Montgomery County, and next week on the U.S. 30 Bypass in Chester County, for guide rail repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Thursday, July 27, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on eastbound U.S. 422 between the Phoenixville/Collegeville and Royersford/Trappe interchanges in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County; and
  • Monday, July 31, through Wednesday, August 2, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on the U.S. 30 Bypass between the Airport Road and Uwchlan Avenue interchanges in Valley, Caln and East Caln townships and Downingtown Borough, Chester County.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
