Route 100 Construction Project - COMPLETE
The project is a partnership between Uwchlan Township and PennDOT. The township is administering the engineering design phase of the project while PennDOT will be managing construction. Route 100 is now a uniformed six-lane roadway from the Route 30 Interchange to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Interchange, instead of changing back-and-forth from two to three lanes, enhancing travel speeds and reducing congestion for the thousands of motorists who use Route 100 each day. Allan A. Myers of Worcester, Montgomery County, was the general contractor on the $17,386,617 contract. The widening project finished on schedule in February 2016.
