About the Event
On Thursday, August 15th, 65 TMACC members and guests gathered at the Chester County Government Services Building for an engaging event with Din Abazi, P.E., the new District Executive of PennDOT’s Engineering District 6. After a warm welcome from all three Chester County Commissioners, Abazi shared insights on the region’s opportunities and challenges, emphasizing the impact of federal infrastructure dollars on advancing key projects. He highlighted ongoing road and right-of-way maintenance as a significant challenge for the District. The event provided a unique opportunity for a diverse, multimodal audience—comprising municipalities, engineers, planners, corporations, and cyclists—to network and discuss the future of transportation in our region.
