About the Event

In Partnership With:
Neighborhood Bike Works

Get ready to pedal towards progress and pave the way for a brighter, greener future! As Bike to Work Month kicks into high gear, TMACC and its Foundation FIT are revving up the excitement with a community event like no other. Join us as we come together to support Neighborhood Bike Works, an organization committed to empowering our communities through the power of pedal power.

At TMACC, our mission is clear: we’re here to advance equitable, safe, and sustainable multimodal transportation solutions. As a beacon of innovation and collaboration, we serve as a resource center for cutting-edge mobility strategies, a bridge between public, private, and non-profit sectors, and a driving force behind the implementation of best practices. And when we join forces with Neighborhood Bike Works, magic happens.

By donating your gently loved young adult and adult bicycles, you’re not just giving a ride – you’re giving the gift of freedom, opportunity, and independence. Every bike collected supports active transportation plans by promoting biking as a viable mode of commuting, reducing traffic congestion, and improving air quality. And let’s not forget the environmental impact – recycling bicycles isn’t just good stewardship; it’s a commitment to sustainability that benefits us all.

But wait, there’s more! As a token of our appreciation, your donation may qualify for a tax deduction. That’s right – not only are you making a difference in your community, but you could also be saving a little extra cash come tax season. So dust off those bikes, spread the word, and let’s pedal our way towards a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. See you at the donation drop-off – let’s make Bike to Work Month the start of something truly transformative!
