PROJECT STATUS: COMPLETE
The Exton Station Reconstruction Project was a coordinated effort to upgrade the station’s Americans with Disabilities Act compliance.
SEPTA installed high-level boarding platforms that allow customers to enter or exit any train car without the use of steps. This project has improved service for all passengers by reducing the dwell time at the station. The Exton Station Reconstruction Project received funding from Act 89 of 2013, which has supported transportation infrastructure improvement projects throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
